Digital transformation fundamentally accelerates economic processes and facilitates work, but at the same time, it brings about the phenomenon of constant availability. As a result, burnout syndrome is becoming one of the most critical issues in modern management and the labor market.
To prepare students for the real-world conditions they will face as graduates, we organized a professional event within the ISCEM project in cooperation with our practical partner – the innovative software company KROS.
The theme of the meeting was not just information technology itself, but primarily how to work with it sustainably over the long term. Experts from KROS shared valuable experiences from the corporate environment with the attendees. Together, we focused on identifying the early warning signs of burnout, which often appear subtly, particularly with the excessive use of digital tools.
Participants received concrete advice on how to address these signals in their daily work and study lives, and how to set healthy boundaries between the online and offline worlds.
Within the ISCEM project, we perceive the concept of „sustainability“ in a broader context. It is not only about the ecological footprint of businesses but also about the sustainability of human capital. Only a healthily structured work environment can fully and effectively utilize the potential that today’s digitalization offers.
