On November 12, 2024, a lecture titled „Banking and Personal Finance in the Context of Digital Transformation“ took place as part of the Science and Technology Week, in which Constantine the Philosopher University participates annually. The event was also conducted within the ISCEM project, which focuses on improving the quality of higher education and addressing challenges brought by globalization and digitalization.
The lecture, intended for the general public, covered current issues resonating not only in the financial sector but also in everyday life. Digital transformation, bringing new challenges and opportunities, was presented from the perspective of personal finance and monetary policy.
The keynote speaker was Bc. Marek Vitkovský, M.Sc., a personal finance expert and managing director of DIVITIAS FINANCE s.r.o. in Topoľčany. In his presentation, he focused on practical advice on how to manage risks associated with the digital era while effectively using the opportunities it brings.
The primary goal of the lecture was to increase participants‘ financial awareness and emphasize the importance of adapting to rapidly changing conditions in the financial world. The lecture received positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the expert yet comprehensible approach of the speaker.
