On November 27, 2024, an important workshop focused on the „Green Economy“ took place at the premises of our project partner, the International Black Sea University (IBSU) in Tbilisi. The event brought together experts, educators, and students with a clear goal – to collaboratively outline the content of a forthcoming comprehensive manual on the green economy.

Under the expert guidance of Professor Ramaz Gerliani, participants deeply analyzed key topics essential for understanding the modern sustainable economy. Discussions covered the definitions of green business, but most importantly, the growing significance of the green economy in a global context.

The program also included the topic of green financing and the importance of inclusion, which directly aligns with the priorities of the ISCEM project. Professor Gerliani also addressed future prospects for the development of the green economy, specifically regarding the regions of Georgia and Ukraine.

The meeting concluded with an interactive discussion. Students and participants had the opportunity to ask questions and submit their own proposals, which will be directly incorporated into the final version of the new textbook. The workshop thus confirmed that modern educational materials are best created when those for whom they are intended also participate in their creation.
