On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, a lecture took place at our university that connected two major initiatives – the nationwide Science and Technology Week and our international ISCEM project. The key pillars of the ISCEM project—digital transformation and sustainability—were the main themes of the expert event titled „Quality of Drinking Water.“
In cooperation with experts from CORA GEO, s. r. o., we demonstrated to students what modern resource management looks like in practice. The focus was not just on the technical details of water distribution, but primarily on showcasing the use of cutting-edge IT solutions and artificial intelligence (AI).
For our students, this lecture was a direct application of the ISCEM project’s goals. They saw real-world proof that economic efficiency and ecological responsibility go hand in hand thanks to digital technologies. The guests explained how intelligent systems help monitor quality, optimize processes, and save costs—competencies we aim to develop through our new study materials.
